SEMA International Auto Salon was a huge success for Agile. Hill, Annie, Bobby, and Will (our intern) arrived at the Atlantic City convention center early Thursday afternoon (May 19th), securing great spots for Hill's and Bobby's cars in the show. Friday started off on the right foot--Bobby and Hill got partially sponsored by ZEX for nitrous kits before the show even opened. Friday was a vendor-only day, so Bobby took the opportunity to meet with manufacturers about sponsorships and to meet some of his current sponsors in person. Saturday morning was also only open to vendors and media and the public was allowed to attend Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday. Bobby and Hill continued to get sponsors throughout the show and even after the show closed Sunday evening.

One of the most exciting moments of the weekend was when the car show winners were announced. Hill's WRX won 1st Place in the Subaru class. Subaru was the most shown make of the weekend with over 30 cars showing. The playing field was extremely competitive, so it was even more impressive when Hill won with a stock stereo system and no video in his car! Hill gained the advantage with his car's cleanliness and impressive custom performance modifications, including a JDM Version 7 STi RA Spec C engine swap, custom Agile flipped intake manifold, custom Agile turbo, intercooler, and exhaust systems, full STi driveline swap, and AEM standalone engine management. The judges also admired his practical, race-oriented interior with Sparco Torino racing seats, custom Agile back seats reupholstered in Sparco fabric to match the racing seats, Sparco 4-point harnesses, a Sparco harness bar and fire extinguisher, Turbosmart E-Boost, and oil pressure, EGT, and wideband O2 gauges.

Bobby expanded his AEM, Hawk Performance, and Samco Sport sponsorships and got these as new sponsorships for Hill. They also picked up Disc Brakes Australia, Fluidyne, Goodridge, Hankook Tire, and Slowboy Racing. Agile and Hill's WRX were also featured in an article about SEMA IAS in the Baltimore Sun on the front page of the Automotive Section (Friday, May 20th 2005 issue).
